FAQs
When you come to my house, will I have to provide anything?
No, Therapy Perfect will provide everything you will need. All equipment is of the highest quality and has been safety tested.
Where are you based?
Therapy Perfect is based at Arjuna Clinic in Cambridge city centre (CB1 2AD.) The beautiful therapy rooms are located on Mill Road, with safe convenient parking at Queen Anne's Terrace car park.
What do I wear?
For body massage treatments, you will be asked to remove all clothing, but to keep under-garments on (bras may be removed.) For Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Seated Acupressure Massage clothes may be worn throughout the treatment (shoes and socks will have to be removed for Reflexology treatments.) It is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
What happens during the consultation?
As all treatments are holistic (ie. they treat the mind, body and soul as inter-connected) a consultation will be carried out. Questions will be asked about your health and lifestyle and this will last approximately 15-20 minutes (please allow longer for pregnancy and fertility treatments.) It also gives the therapist a good idea of what kind of treatment you require. The first consultation is always the longest - subsequent ones really a check up of how you have been feeling between appointments, or if anything has changed medically. All information is completely confidential, and Therapy Perfect adheres to the Federation of Holistic Therapist's Code of Conduct.
I'm pregnant - can you treat me?
Most definitely! Both Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology have been proven to help alleviate unwanted symptoms of pregnancy. Unfortunately for safety reasons, Therapy Perfect can not treat you if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy. Beyond that we are happy to see you and are able to adapt all treatments to meet your needs. For more information on what we can do for you, please see our pregnancy page.
Can you treat children?
Yes, Therapy Perfect often treats children and we have had positive results treating ADHD. Children under the age of 16 must have an adult present during the treatment.
Can you tailor treatments?
Yes! Want longer on you back? Can't stand your feet being massaged? You can simply tell us what you want and we can tailor every treatment to your requirements.
